Do your bit on the “Allah” flip-flop decision

Frankly, this has nothing to do with whether you’re a Christian, Catholic or Muslim. It’s just too much on the government’s part to decide on who is allowed to use the word “Allah” and otherwise. Is the government of the day trying to act bigger than the Almighty God?!! Don’t mess around, ok? Acting as a bully for a long time does not mean you can be a bully forever.

I’ve just read that a group of concerned citizens has initiated a signature campaign in support of a memorandum urging the government to review the ban on the use of the word Allah in Christian publications. The campaign will run until the end of this month in which subsequently, the memorandum, would be handed over to the Prime Minister personally either in Parliament or in Putrajaya next month. No doubt, little is expected from the handing of such memorandum to the PM. But, the little we can do is to get as many signatures as possible and make this a super-hot petition in the eyes of the world..

To recap, last week the Home Minister said the February 16 Government gazette lifting a ban on Christian publications to use the word Allah was rescinded due to “mistakes”. Mistakes?! Come on lar, how long are we going to be treated as stupid, ignorant kampung people??!?

Just head to the Petition Online site here and forward to as many concerned citizens as possible (this is irregardless of what religion you practice) and do our bit…
